Heres what I painted a few days ago..I still have a little bit if work to do but this is what I have for the time being...I found the reference image on Wetcanvas and thought it looked yummy enough to paint...Now all I need is to get myself a bag of licorice...A gud friend of mine on wetcanvas told me that this particular type of licorice comes for U.K and is called Bassett Licorice Allsorts...I need tio get my hands on some of them before I eat up the painting itself...Until then this is for you sylvia...

I used to mistake licorice with liquorice (sp?), but I guess that I'm over it now :-)
The highlights give a nice touch to your painting.
